The vision of the Gates County Exceptional Children's Department is to educate, support, and advocate for all students with disabilities by providing equitable, individualized services and resources that prepare them to become productive citizens in the 21st century.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Gates County Exceptional Children's Department is to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and community partners to ensure that all children with disabilities develop academically, socially, emotionally, and vocationally through the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) in the least restrictive environment.
